Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6
Children are a very important part of the Brandenburg United Methodist Church and the scripture verse above is our prayer for each of them. We strive to teach them the Word of God based on the Old and New Testament, and to teach them to love one another as Jesus loves them.

- Children's Church & Cherub Church
Cherub Church classes are offered during the 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship services. This is a vital ministry in our church available for children age three through kindergarten. The children attend the worship service in the sanctuary for the first 15 or 20 minutes and then leave to attend the children's program. This program is held adjacent to our nursery. Cherub Church is an excellent opportunity to educate, enrich and entertain our younger children with Bible stories, music and crafts during our weekly worship services.
- Easter Egg Hunt
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is another can't miss children's event at Brandenburg United Methodist Church! Each spring, volunteers fill and hide approximately 2000 Easter eggs to delight and excite over 100 children age one through the 6th grade. The annual Easter Egg Hunt at BUMC is an "eggs-tra" special event for everyone who attends!
- Camp Loucon Summer Camps
Church camps are available for children 7 years old through high school during the summer months. Some camps are a week long; others are for shorter periods.
